Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Better Rhythm handles information submitted through the website and limited technical data required to operate it.
1. Data controller and contact
Better Rhythm operates the informational website at betterrhythm.info. For privacy questions, contact [email protected], call +62 361 445 2087, or write to Jl. Teuku Umar No. 73, Denpasar, Bali 80113, Indonesia. The website is intended for readers in Indonesia and is presented in English.
This policy applies to information handled through the public website, including the contact form, preference storage and ordinary server-level technical logs. It does not describe services that are not implemented. The website does not contain an online store, checkout, payment processor, account area or subscription product.
2. Information submitted through forms
The contact form asks for name, email address, subject, message and a privacy confirmation. These fields are used so an enquiry can be understood and answered. The form also contains a hidden anti-spam field that should remain empty during normal use. If automated software fills that field, the submission may be treated as spam.
Please avoid including unnecessary confidential information in a general website enquiry. The contact form is intended for editorial, accessibility and website questions. Information is processed only for the purpose of receiving, reviewing and responding to the message and for maintaining a reasonable record of correspondence when needed.
3. Technical logs
Standard web hosting may create technical logs when a page is requested. Depending on the hosting environment, those logs can include an IP address, requested URL, time of request, browser information, referral information and server response status. Such logs are generally used to operate the website, investigate faults, protect the server from abuse and maintain service availability.
The project does not deliberately add a separate analytics platform or advertising tracker. If the website owner later introduces analytics, advertising or other third-party measurement services, this policy and the cookie controls should be updated before those services are enabled.
4. Cookies and local preference storage
The website includes a cookie-preference interface. The current implementation stores the selected consent state in browser localStorage so the preference can persist on the same browser. Necessary operation of the website does not depend on advertising cookies. The preference choices are labelled Accept All, Partial and Functional.
LocalStorage remains on the device until it is cleared by the user, removed by browser controls or replaced by another preference. The separate Cookie Policy explains the categories in more detail. Because no analytics or advertising service is currently implemented, choosing a broader preference does not activate a hidden analytics vendor.
5. Purposes of processing
Information may be handled for several limited operational purposes: answering an enquiry, maintaining website security, troubleshooting errors, preserving the selected cookie-preference state, preventing obvious form abuse and meeting legal obligations that apply to the website operator. Information is not collected for the purpose of building health profiles, selling user lists or operating an e-commerce customer database.
Where consent is the appropriate basis for optional storage, the preference interface provides a mechanism to express that choice. Where information is submitted specifically so a response can be provided, the processing is connected to the user’s request. Technical logging may be based on legitimate operational needs such as security and fault diagnosis, subject to applicable law.
6. Retention
Contact enquiries should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the message, maintain related correspondence and resolve follow-up questions. Technical logs are normally retained according to the hosting provider’s operational schedule and should not be kept indefinitely without a reason. Browser preference data remains on the user’s own device until cleared or changed.
Retention periods may differ where information must be preserved for legal compliance, dispute management, security investigation or another legitimate requirement. When information is no longer needed for the relevant purpose, it should be deleted, anonymised or allowed to expire according to the system in which it is stored.
7. Third-party services
The website loads Google Fonts to display the specified typography. Requests for font resources may involve communication with Google infrastructure, and the handling of those requests is governed by the relevant provider terms and privacy information. No other analytics, advertising, payment or social-login service is intentionally implemented in this project.
External links may lead to independent websites. Their privacy practices are outside the control of Better Rhythm. Opening an external website creates a separate relationship between the visitor and that service.
8. User rights
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances of processing, individuals may have rights to request access to personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion, request restriction, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or request information about how data is handled. A request can be sent using the contact details above.
Before acting on a request, reasonable steps may be taken to confirm the identity of the requester and clarify the scope. This helps prevent information from being disclosed or altered in response to an unauthorised request. Rights are subject to the limits and exceptions established by applicable law.
9. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures should be used to protect website information. The supplied project includes basic security headers and avoids unnecessary account or payment features. No internet system can be guaranteed to be completely immune from error, misuse or unauthorised access, so operational security should also include maintained hosting, current PHP versions and controlled administrative access.
10. Policy changes and contact
This policy may be updated when the website changes, when a new service is introduced or when legal requirements change. Material changes should be reflected in the text before the new processing begins where practical. The current version should remain accessible from the footer of every public page.
Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected] or by post to Jl. Teuku Umar No. 73, Denpasar, Bali 80113, Indonesia. The phone contact is +62 361 445 2087.
